The AT&T/T-mobile merger hasn't occurred yet, but when it does, Europe will fall into AT&T's clutches within 2 years.

If AT&T dumps Nokia Siemens Network as T-Mobile's vendor after the merger, it will weaken NSN enough to give Ericsson and Alcatel-Lucent the biggest portion of the European market. There will be less choice, less competition.
