If I lived in Malibu instead of San Diego, you bet your ass I'd've given him a ride. :D

I think a lot of it was shock at seeing how different he looks now from when he was on SG-1. I know I had a moment of "oh, wow", but only because it was surprising. They've forgotten that he's a HUMAN BEING and human beings (normally :P) age and have weight fluctuations. I'm not saying that anything they said was RIGHT, but I could understand the "shock." They just need to learn to keep it to themselves.

And I've totally done the "steering goes out while driving home at night" thing, so I can totally empathize with the car troubles.

Oh yeah, a marked contrast to his young, lean (almost too lean, sometimes) years, but compared to other 61-year-olds, RDA's still a hottie, and will ALWAYS be a kind, charitable, deliciously snarky & intelligent dude.

I blame the media for a lot of society's problems today. If people weren't inundated with "everything must be pretty/sexy/dumb it down" messages, then they'd be less likely to say the things they did. All the emphasis is on having the "pretty package", but who cares if the package is empty?

Society has largely stopped thinking as individuals and fallen into a shallow pool called group mentality.

You have to watch the video of him and his daughter answering twitter comments. It's hilarious and ends with Wylie saying something about him needing to work out and he looks right and the camera and goes, "WHAT?"

It cracks me up every time. The two of them should do an act together.

omg yes They're so adorable together in that vid! I love how RDA doesn't care that he's not "Hollywood hot". I'm pretty sure he lives a healthy lifestyle anyway, & stays as active as his foot surgeries will allow.
