campylobacter = conventional

So, [livejournal.com profile] campylobacter , your LiveJournal reveals…

You are… 0% unique, 16% peculiar, 50% interesting, 21% normal and 13% herdlike (partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy science fiction). When it comes to friends you are popular. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are keen to please. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.

Your overall weirdness is: 22

(The average level of weirdness is: 28.
You are weirder than 50% of other LJers.)

Find out what your weirdness level is!

Guess I'd better stop ReTweeting and Reblogging content if I wanna be unique! ;D

uber lame even for an LJ toy

Huh. Another online evaluation toy with an opaque methodology. Zero information on what the results mean, what the scales are, or how the conclusions are derived. Reminiscent of the "I Write Like" fraud that ran through the internets last year, until the Making Light people outed the greedy lying jerk behind it.

I ran both LOLMac and bethinexile through it, which usually produces enlightening results: LOLMac has almost no text entries to process, and the bethinexile profile is mostly empty. The results broke the meter, which is always fun:

Alas you have no LJ interests listed on your user info page - or there's been some sort of glitch. If you do have interests listed, please try again.

Campy, all it's doing is checking the following items on your User Info page:
- How many people have Friended you? ('popularity')
- How many did you Friend back? ('relating to people')
- How many of your listed interests and comms are shared with how many other LJ users? Which of those interests is listed by the largest number of other users?
- Do you use big words in your profile? ('writing style')

It's not checking the actual journal content at all.

OTOH, at least they spelled 'weird' correctly, even though the results are crap.

Nah, just put down something like "FSM tentacle porn" as an interest, and you'll wind up unique.

Hmm... or maybe not...

Cause that's the first word that pops into *my* mind when I think of you!
