PICSPAM: Claudia Black in NCIS
I just watched my very first episode of NCIS on the CBS website, solely for Claudia Black. I generally don't care for police procedurals.
The female characters of NCIS seem a lot more interesting than the males. I like the goth chick and the one with the widow's peak. Do you NCIS fans femslash them? The Mark Harmon character's kinda bland. The dork with the necktie is irritating. The pasty dweeb/s (were there two? I can't remember now) were boring. The grumpy old man was slightly entertaining but one-dimensional. Where's the hot black guy who was in the credits? I like the Latino investigator guest star; he's hot.
I took 15 screen caps of the episode "Borderland". They're all of Claudia. :-D Also, SPOILERS, if you care.
Claudia Black as "Velvet Road" in the NCIS episode "Borderland"; she plays the owner of the "Country Girl Saloon" biker bar.

I tweaked the exposure, tint, and sharpness on these screen captures because they were dark and yellowy-green; the NCIS lighting designer did a good job of giving the scene a cheap, fluorescent-light look, but I wanna see the pretty, so I undid his verisimilitude.
Velvet paces with authority and impatience.
Velvet fiddles or twirls a black leather string or something.
Velvet faces her interrogator confidently.
"Courage? Respect? Kindness?" (Sorry. Vague inside joke referencing the Vala ink blot scene in the Stargate SG-1 episode "Morpheus".)
Busted! Her interrogator compares the photo of the "666" brand on the murder victim's scalp with the silver ring of Velvet's right hand
You can see the trapped look on her face. Oops, I gave away the plot. Sorry. She was the only suspect, anyway. Like you didn't see THAT coming.
Claudia plays "Damn, you got me" very well. Don't worry, Velvet! You'll have plenty of fun dominating the other inmates in jail. Plus, your attorney will give you a jury trial, and you'll get 3rd degree and be out in no time.
Tugging off her "666" signet ring for DNA testing. I guess she never takes it off. (I love when she makes that face.)
"I'm immune to snake venom." Because she has lots of pet snakes, or because she was host to a snake for a decade? (Oops, wrong 'verse.)
Showing more tattoos! WHY couldn't she have taken off the vest?
Feather earrings! The makeup & costuming departments did such a good job.
"I woke up in the back of a truck." No, not MEGASNAKE!!!
Velvet decides whether to cave in to the interrogator. He raises his voice a bit and she tells on… a DRUG CARTEL.
She plays bad girls so well that I wanna go to prison with her.
