NBC jumps back into the sitcom business in a big way with this gem from a genre not necessarily known for their comedy - science fiction.

Michael Shanks reprises his Stargate SG-1 role as Dr. Daniel Jackson, a globe trotting archaeologist who is trying to remain anonymous as the government decide when and how to declassify the Air Force's super-secret space travel program. Part of the price for his escape to the sunnier confines of San Francisco was that he agreed to take charge of feisty alien Vala Mal Doran, played by the irrepressible Claudia Black.

Together, the two of them try to live normal lives in a friendly downtown neighborhood without anyone finding out that one of them is an alien and the other had multiple deaths under his belt.

Coming this fall to Monday nights!

SERIES WORKING TITLE: "My Little Alien"

Episode 1: "Please Don't Eat the SUVs"

Vala's father Jacek drops by for a visit, and tries to sell "genuine meteorite fragments" to the neighbors. Unfortunately, the fragments ARE real, and emit a strange radiation that turns people into rampaging mutant beasts.

When a handsome, silver-haired fox in Air Force blues breezes into town and bunks with Daniel and Vala, the neighborhood buzzes with gossip about just who's zoomin' who.

The neighborhood gossip really heats up when Vala is seen downtown in a leather bar with a beautiful blonde astrophysicist while Daniel's sequestered himself at home with the Air Force general...

Following the last episode's explosive conclusion, Daniel and Vala are back on the job as Mongolian Death Worms invade San Francisco. Is this truly an alien incursion, or is this simply a marketing ploy gone horribly wrong?

A strange gray, naked humanoid creature is seen working in Daniel & Vala's garden, prompting a visit from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, and forcing the USAF general to intervene.

Episode 6: "The Real Mrs. Jackson"

A gorgeous, Levantine brunette shows up after an earthquake, claiming to be Daniel's wife. Daniel's shocked, but Vala's smitten...

You wouldn't be interfering with anything else if you made Sept. the deadline to start posting...after all the fake press release did say 'coming this fall'.
Make the end of June the deadline to sign up with Sept. the first 'air' date...maybe a specific day of the week just like a real sitcom. And then you send out reminders to everyone participating a couple of times thru the summer so their committment doesn't get forgotten during the summer.

But I can't do it alone. If you don't have the time to contribute content, will you be able to provide moral support (i.e. let me whimper in private) if I get flaily about being an administrator? I have to access the martinet deep inside me that I've kept straitjacketed for decades, and her bureaucratic skills are severely out of practice.
