I remember reading once on ONTD, of all places, a discussion of female Stargate characters. Someone said Elizabeth was "the heart and soul of [SGA]" and man, talk about hitting the nail on the head. I'm still trying to slog through S5 and it's almost impossible because what even is the point anymore? It was even hard at times for me to get through S4, and you know I wouldn't say that lightly.
