I watched The X-Files not quite from the beginning, but from Season 5, so all my episodes are on homemade VHS! Ack. One of these days, I'll break down and buy the complete XF series (all 9 seasons) on DVD, but those VHS tapes are almost too sentimental for me to replace -- even the commercials give me a sense of nostalgia.
I'm so happy with Stargate SG-1 The Complete Series on DVD -- it's got an activated 'Gate with a blue event horizon in 3-D on the box, plus a little episode guide booklet that's very quick and concise.
