So far, I've seen (and re-watched thrice) the first 15 episodes of Season 1, 4 from S8, the first 12 of S9, and 3 from s10, plus a handful random eps whose names I don't know because I was a casual viewer at the time. Guess that's fewer than 40 eps.
Sheesh, I gotta catch up! I've read more fanfic stories, for gosh sakes!
