Realised that it is actually today over here...ahh well my request to ask for an update for those on .org accounts won't be done and I don't have time to do it today as off out...first time in months...
Easiest way to black out a .org site is to upload an index.html file to the root folder, then delete or rename that file when you're ready to restore the site. That's what I've done for 3 non-WordPress sites.
It probably is but just to knackered to do it now...been out all day and just about to collapse on the sofa....damn this ME...and I have to go out tomorrow early as well...ahh well
