That's how I heard it... Could it have been "Velvet Rhode"? Maybe the implication is that a lot of people ride her. ;-)

I was amused that she escorted the law out of her bar, because a lot of her bar's partons looked like they had outstanding warrants. ;-D

At that first glimpse of her behind the bar, I really thought she was an undercover cop/agent, and that feeling was re-inforced at the start of the outside the bar scene.

The only way I'll watch another ep of that show is if she guest-stars again...mabye Velvet can break out of jail???

She won't be in for long -- her lawyer will get her a 3rd or 2nd degree charge at a jury trial by playing on the "it was self-defense" angle. Plenty of femslash possibilities in prison... ;-)

Oh, then it's not just me? Because that's the first NCIS ep I've ever seen, and I was wondering why that dude's even on payroll.

There's a whole drama cocerning the two characters in that scene with CB. But Tony (Michael Weatherly) was just completely useless in this particular episode. Thankfully, he isn't always as dorky and shallow as he was portrayed. But I still wanted to see Ms. Black thump him ala Prometheus Unbound.

My mom called me to tell me that she was on the show (as if I didn't know...she doubts my fangirl powers, tsk), and said "Her voice was really husky and masculine, though." I only barely resisted the urge to tell her that I didn't notice because I was in a semi-orgasmic state. CLAUDIA!!!!! She was so, so, so hot—voice, tattoos, hair, everything. *GUH*
