campylobacterYesterday, the spouse bought a grocery store tabloid with the top story "OSAMA'S SECRET SURRENDER! Lovesick Bin Laden Lays Down His Arms To Join Sweetheart Saddam In Jail!"

"INSIDE! Exclusive photo of their joyous jailhouse reunion! PLUS! Tender love poem that drove the Al Quaeda leader wild!"
The three page article also has digital manips of Saddam and Osama cudling ape boy "Robert" (WTF?), and a large pic of them embracing.
I started to get pissed about the homophobic undertones of the article until I read this:
"According to a senior administration official, Bush overruled Vice President Dick Cheney and top advisor Karl Rove, who warned that caving in to Osama's demand that he be allowed to share a cell with Saddam would rankle the Republican Party's religious right, which has driven the President's hard-line opposition to gay marriage in the US.
"'The irony is that Osama and Saddam now have what taxpaying homosexuals don't have -- a marriage certificate and all the perks that come with it, including the express approval of President Bush,' says the official."
Huh.
I'm still waiting for Dubya/Cheney RPF.
