I'm cringing at the legal issues of publishing fanfic. It's an old argument that's created lots of wanky debates.

Well, I work with an Intellectual Property attorney who had NEVER heard about fanfic. He's also a great big fanboy and when I told him about it, he was AMAZED. LOL - I guess nothing like it had never come across his desk.

That kinda proves that fanfic isn't as much of an actionable offense as other IP violations.
