I guess it's just typical of my situation -- I can't join the Haven either. Not that it would matter -- the Haven bites my computer HARD.

I like to pretend that I'm universally banned and de-friended. It makes me feel speshul.

That message is from the LJ community [livejournal.com profile] thebookyoucrew , who roundly and soundly rejected me! Squee! As much as I'd like to keep them on my Friends list, they're way too active; their entries outnumber the individuals on my FList.

Even if they had accepted me, I couldn't've enhanced their community because I don't read the books in their genre (contemporary mainstream small-press literature). I'm way too much of a Dead White European Male elitist and a science fiction fan to fit in with them.

Haven sends me email confirms, but doesn't send me follow-ups for joining. I think there's some technical explanation behind that, but I'm not worried about it. I have enough fanstuff vying for my time as it is. I can usually spare only a once-a-week visit to LJ, and I've been so busy with work that I haven't been as regular with WhyI.

The reason why I recently tried to join Haven was so that I could locate a fanfic, but [livejournal.com profile] logane found it for me at the X-Files Lost & Found Board.

Friend/de-Friend/Ban me = it's all good.

Fandom's more fun when you're an equal-opportunity pervert (multi-shipper). Set porn goggles to maximum!

Mostly Stargate SG-1 with an intermittent chance of SGA & The X-Files.

BEWARE: My LJ is NOT SAFE FOR WORK.
