DANIEL: Jaaack... (snatches wallet back)

SAM: When's the next little one due?

DANIEL: Um, five months, two weeks.

SAM: (calculating the time effortlessly) Daniel! Those kids'll be less than ten months apart in age! You're supposed to wait six weeks before...

After I wrote it, I realized that it could be interpreted as Jack/Daniel MPREG.

I wish they'd hurry up and make the next movie already.

I miss you, too! I'm sending you the beta-reader link to the deadline fic that's been eating my brain and occupying all my spare time. OMG, I've never written NC-17 adventure D/V with Team! before, and it's kicking my butt! (I fortunately got a deadline extension, so YAY!)

Gosh, it's hard. He's such a mild-mannered, intellectual goof that drawing out those rare moments in canon where he's violent (and trying to get readers to remember them) is BRAIN MELTING.

Hmm...mild mannered?...yeah but he does have a temper...as he told Kinsey, he doesn't suffer fools gladly...and he can be pretty passionate about what he believes is right...and I don't think you have to worry too much about reminding people about the few times when vengeful!Daniel has been seen...because the moments have been so unexpected that they are memorable...have you seen the two episodes I referred to?
I meant that I would never attempt the plotline you're playing with because I'd be afraid that I couldn't give it proper believable resolution.

I'd already seen "Bloodlines" and "Prototype"; but on your mention, I went and watched the scene in "Serpent's Song", and OMG, wow, MS plays that scene so well with Peter Williams -- the acting restraint underlines the current of rage and tension beneath the surface. WOW!

You could FEEL Daniel seething with anger, and tell how Apophis delights in messing with him. Brad & Co. were so lucky to have such tremendous acting talent in their cast -- heroes AND villains, throughout 10+ years.

The next movie had better BRING THE A GAME in script writing.

I just hope my little darkfic passes snuff.

Yeah I love that scene in "Serpent's Song"...you can just feel the twisted satisfaction Daniel is getting from telling Apophis that HE delivered and hid Amaunet's son. And then the deadly quiet,clenched jaw threat to tell him where Amaunet is or he'll kill Apophis right then and there
Yeah well don't worry about whether or not we'll get 'A' game writing...with the money troubles MGM is having there isn't likely to be a third movie anytime soon.
Which is kinda okay with me 'cuz that means that BW won't be getting a chance anytime soon to break our hearts by telling us that Vala is either dead or left Earth.

I got the link and I'm about to look at it now. I'm having my own troubles with "The Empty Space Beside". I was planning to post part one for the Spring Love fic thing but I don't know if it will be ready by then. :(

The story isn't my concern at the moment, I make the deadline, then I do. I, however, am upset because I miss talking to my buddy. It's quite lonely around here without someone to talk to.
