I never got to see the Pilot episode, which would've given me more of an incentive to watch.
By the time I searched for it online, it wasn't available for free. I didn't want to pay for something I wasn't sure I was going to like.
TV series usually improve by the 2nd season and hit their stride in the 3rd. But the networks now want blockbuster ratings from the get-go, such as the rating LOST got on its pilot.
