Jack was slouched against the side of his non-functioning car when Daniel's Jeep whizzed by him, screeched to a halt and reversed at a dizzying speed.
"Daniel! It's about damned time." He groused as he grabbed his gear and locked up before hopping in.
"Good morning, General."
Jack lowered his shades to stare at the huge grin greeting him. "Vala?"
"Fasten your seatbelt, darling. I'm still getting the hang of this stick thingy." With that, she accelerated into a tight turn and swept back down the mountain.
